I am a partner at Balderton Capital, a $6B European venture fund building new technology businesses, with a particular focus on A.I, productivity, energy and health.

I'm the inaugural Chair of the UK Government's Sovereign AI Unit, a £500M fund and AI-solutions group launched with the aim of accelerating AI success and adoption in the UK.

I am also the author of Start-Up Century, a book explaining why more people are becoming self-employed and working as entrepreneurs, and how we can support them.
